Description: Volunteer wildlife caretakers feed and clean the animals housed at Quail Hollow. Currently the park maintains two red-tailed hawks, one screech owl, several native non-venomous snakes and two northern copperheads. Naturalists use these live animals to reach several thousand school children annually through wildlife educational programs in the tri-county area. Volunteer Caretakers go through approximately 8 hours of training on 3-4 separate days before being placed on duty. No volunteer positions are vacant at this time.
